Free Tattoo Consultation

Ready to get inked? Let’s have a small chat first. A tattoo consultation is a chance to slow down and talk things through before committing to anything.

At Tattoo Garden, consultations are private, relaxed conversations designed to help you feel confident about your next step — whether your idea is fully formed or still taking shape.

Simply fill out the form below and let’s chat!

First off, I truly appreciate your taking the time to get in touch with me!

The best way to proceed is to fill out the contact form. I will generally respond in one or two days.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A consultation is time set aside to listen, ask questions, and understand what you’re trying to accomplish with your tattoo. We talk about placement, size, design direction, and any concerns you may have.

There’s no pressure to decide everything in one visit. The goal is clarity, not commitment.

  • Many people worry that an artist might have an agenda that doesn’t put their satisfaction first. I’m aware of that concern, and I work intentionally to avoid it.

My role during a consultation is to explain options, limitations, and possibilities so you can make informed decisions about your tattoo.

  • After a consultation, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what direction makes sense, what the next steps are, and whether you want to move forward.

You’re always in control of the timeline. Nothing is rushed.

  • You don’t need to bring anything specific, but having reference images or examples of styles you like can be helpful. Even if you’re not sure what you want yet, that’s completely fine — the consultation is meant to help clarify your ideas.

  • I believe that nearly any tattoo can be covered. Whether it should be depends on comfort level, financial considerations, time, and expectations.

A good cover up shouldn’t look like a cover up. If people frequently ask what’s underneath, it doesn’t really allow you to move past the old tattoo. More importantly, if the only goal is hiding something — and not enjoying the new tattoo — then the situation hasn’t actually improved.

That’s why the focus isn’t just on what disappears, but on what replaces it.

  • Getting your first tattoo often comes with a mix of excitement and uncertainty.

Tattoo Garden exists to make that experience feel calm, informed, and unhurried.

Many first-time clients worry about pain, permanence, or making the wrong decision. Those concerns are completely normal.

The private studio setting allows time to talk openly, ask questions, and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
