Keep your Second Skin bandage on for 24 hours. If your bandage comes off prematurely just proceed to the next step. If we have used an alternative to Second Skin, only leave the bandage on for 6 hours and begin washing immediately 2-3 time per day for 2 weeks.
Always wash your hands before you wash your new tattoo.
Wash your tattoo as soon as you remove the bandage with the foaming wash and warm water. Only use your finger tips, not a cloth or sponge. Blot dry with a clean towel and air dry for 5-10 minutes.
Either reapply a new Second Skin bandage or apply tattoo cream and wash your new tattoo 2-3 times per day for 14 days. If you reapply the bandage keep it on for 4 days and then start washing it for the remainder of the two week care period.
Your tattoo will itch. DO NOT pick or scratch! You may tap or lightly slap your tattoo. using more cream will help.
No soaking or swimming for 2 weeks.No sun for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks use sunscreen any time you get enough sun to tan.
